Iguazú Eco Bike Adventure

Through this tour, you'll have the unique opportunity to explore the Iguazú National Park by bike! This is the wildest route you’ll find in the area, where you’ll enjoy the authentic feeling of being in contact with the Misiones jungle. We’ll cycle several kilometers until we reach the upper part of the Iguazú River, while having the chance to observe various native animals along the way. Early in the morning, we will depart from our selected hotels and head towards National Route 101, a road used by settlers, tourists, and locals visiting their families. From there, we will approach the Gendarmerie post where our adventure will begin. We will prepare the equipment and bikes. We use Scott bikes to travel a 10 km dirt road, with possible obstacles such as puddles, mud, rocks, and steep slopes. We will ride 2 km on the road before entering a jungle trail, where we’ll cycle an additional 3 km until we reach the banks of the Iguazú River. From there, depending on our fitness level, we can explore longer distances, enjoying this incredible, wild, and little-explored landscape. We’ll make interpretive stops along the way, where we’ll have the chance to spot small mammals, birds, and butterflies. Increasing our chances of seeing them is one of our goals. This environment is ideal for understanding how the jungle works and how we should protect it. After a rest, we will return to our selected hotels in Puerto Iguazú.
