Discover Tierra del Fuego National Park on an outdoor adventure that includes a 3-hour hike, picnic lunch, and 1.5 hours of canoe paddling. With a specialized guide, you'll explore Tierra del Fuego National Park, where mountains, freshwater rivers, and lakes are accessible close to the coastal sea. During this full-day trip from Ushuaia, hike through forests and paddle on Lapataia Bay—an activity you can’t miss while in Tierra del Fuego. Group size is limited to 12 people, ensuring an intimate experience with a small group. **Departure from the hotel in a minibus heading to Tierra del Fuego National Park, specifically to Ensenada Zaratiegui, where we can enjoy beautiful views of the Beagle Channel, with the Redonda, Hoste, and Navarino islands as the main attractions.** From there, we embark on a hike along the Coastal Path. This 7-kilometer trek allows us to discover the diverse flora and birdlife of the Beagle Channel and the Fuegian forest, as well as remnants of ancient Yámana settlements, the native people of the area. After 3 hours of hiking, we reach Lake Roca, where we enjoy a hot, hearty lunch. After lunch, we start our ride in inflatable “dukies” along the Lapataia River, which brings us closer to our destination, Lapataia Bay in the Beagle Channel, precisely where the Pan-American Highway and National Route Nº 3 come to an end. Throughout the entire journey, our professional guide will share the history of this remote place, along with insights into its wildlife and plant life.
